Having finished as the top ranked team in the EDDOA President's Cup games, the 95 Girls Green team headed to Austin for the state finals on May 24 and 25.  The Fusion girls faced some tough games from San Antonio's Classic, Austin's Lonestar, and Houston's Dynamos.  With Marianna out with a broken arm and only one substitute, the girls battled hard for a 0-2-1 tournament record and were competitive in each match. Congratulations to Marianna, Autumn, Maci, Katie, Cam, Gabby, Callie, Gabi, Meagan, Graci, Mackenzie, Jackie, and Lauren.  Many thanks to the leadership of coaches Scott Goggans, George Hadjiloizou, and trainer Jorge Cruz.  The team's hard work during the spring and first place finish in EDDOA games will lead to the team's promotion to the EDDOA Classic bracket in the fall.
